Calculation of charge
- Dictation: for pricing certainty we calculate our charge according to the length of the dictation file. Our charge assumes that an audio hour
takes 3 hours to transcribe and 1.5 hours to proofread
- At NZ$35 per operator hour (as quoted above), this means that transcription and proofing of
one audio hour takes us 4.5 hours and costs you NZ$157.50
- Transcription of multi-speaker recordings, such as interviews or meetings, is charged according to operator time spent on the job
- For clients in other jurisdictions, we will convert the NZ$ rate to a local currency equivalent
Invoicing
- Audio files rounded to the nearest minute for rate per minute charging (all files shorter than 1 minute are taken to be 1 minute long)
- fortnightly invoicing to client main email account
- itemised statements (files processed/file length/total payable)
- invoice payable within 10 working days

We accept payment (1) by direct payment; or (2) by cheque.
